wait
Canonical ID: time.wait. Nederlands: wacht.
Pauses cooperatively for a bounded duration. In an event script it parks only that script so other ready scripts can run. A positive wait keeps Stop responsive and starts a fresh instruction-budget slice afterward. It does not replenish the session-wide event-work budget. Zero is accepted but gives no fresh instruction slice; positive values below one millisecond wait at least one millisecond on the reference host.

Notes and common mistakes
Use the function name for your source language. Its canonical ID is a shared documentation label; you do not type that ID as a call. Giving your own variable or function the same name can hide the built-in. Supply the documented arguments and value types. Pliro reports mismatches when checking can detect them, or when the call runs.
