# simulationRate

Canonical ID: `simulation.rate`. Nederlands: `simulatieTempo`.

Sets a presentation rate between 0.1 and 10. It never changes simulated timestamps; source code chooses its own waiting and pacing.

## Signature

simulationRate(clock, rate)
```

## Return value and behavior

A new clock Map with the chosen rate.

The helper returns a new value. Use set/zet when updating a variable; the earlier value stays unchanged.
