# pauseSimulation

Pauses a simulation clock without changing its tick or time.

## Signature

pauseSimulation(clock)
```

## Return value and behavior

A new paused clock Map.

The helper returns a new value. Use set/zet when updating a variable; the earlier value stays unchanged.

## Example

let clock = pauseSimulation(startSimulation(simulationClock(0.1)))
